🌏 International Internship Program
From 2025 onward, Onework is proud to partner with TechStart , a UK-based charity dedicated to empowering young people through technology and innovation. Together with several other international organizations, we are launching a new International Internship Program designed to give students and recent graduates meaningful, real-world experience in the rapidly evolving fields of AI and Smart City development.
Our projects focus across multiple domains :
- Internet of Things (IoT)，Robotics
- 3D Design and Visualization
- Backend (Java & node) and Frontend (Vue) Development
- AI Research in Digital Twin and Smart City Applications
This program offers participants a chance to gain hands-on experience working on real projects that contribute to innovative digital transformation efforts in Taiwan and beyond.
🌱 Who Can Apply
We welcome applications from:
- University students (currently enrolled or recently graduated)
- Individuals with a strong interest in technology, innovation, or digital transformation
- Applicants who are eager to learn and collaborate in an international, cross-cultural environment
This is an unpaid internship, but it provides an invaluable opportunity to build your portfolio, grow your technical and creative skills, and broaden your cultural and professional horizons.
🏡 Support Provided
While the internship itself is unpaid, Onework will assist you with:
- Accommodation arrangements during your stay in Taiwan
- Visa support and related documentation
- Guidance on adjusting to life and work in Taiwan
Many participants also use this opportunity to travel and explore Taiwan — enjoying its rich culture, food, and natural beauty — while gaining international work experience.
⏱️ Duration & Schedule
- internship period: Minimum 2 months, Maximum 6 months
- Working schedule: At least 4 days per week (flexible based on project needs)
- Internships can start at various times throughout the year, depending on availability and project requirements.

The application and selection process generally takes around 2 months after your submission.

Step 1 – Application Submission
Prepare and submit the following materials:
- Your CV / résumé
- A portfolio of relevant work (if applicable)
- Your GitHub profile or project links
- A cover letter or introduction letter telling us about yourself and explaining why you would like to join our internship program
Step 2 – Review and Assignment
After reviewing your materials, our team will invite you to complete a simple technical or creative assignment to help us better understand your skills and interests.
Step 3 – Mentor Matching and Interview
Once your evaluation is complete, we will match you with a mentor from our project team. Your mentor will conduct a short interview with you to discuss your goals, skillset, and how we can best support your learning journey during your internship.
